Hi! We're Christy & Jason - former Texans living in California. Jason previously worked for Southwest Airlines for 8 years and thanks to that, we were able to visit over 40 countries (and countless cities) thanks to the free (or greatly discounted) travel opportunities.
We have always made traveling and exploring this world our top priority. The older we get, the more we've come to love the "slow travel" style. It's nice to wander around places with no real plans in mind (a HUGE departure for my Type-A personality!) and experience life like a local.

We were lucky enough to work remotely during "that" year, and we took that time to live in Airbnbs all along the West Coast with our dog. We absolutely loved spending so much time digging in and exploring each place we visited.
Ultimately, we decided to put down roots and buy a house in San Diego. We're excited about all of the local travel opportunities that are available to us here, but we still plan to travel across the globe as well.
